Delivery Partner Terms
These Delivery Partner Terms ("Terms") apply to individuals who register on the Valley Rush Delivery app to deliver orders ("Delivery Partner", "you"). The app is operated by Valley Rush Private Limited (CIN: —), Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, India ("Valley Rush", "we"). By registering and accepting these Terms, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.
1. Relationship
You are an independent service provider, not an employee or agent of Valley Rush. You choose when to go online and whether to accept a delivery. Nothing in these Terms creates employment, partnership or agency.
2. Eligibility and verification
- You must be at least 18 years old, hold a valid driving licence for the vehicle you use (where a licence is required), and have a valid vehicle registration and insurance.
- You must complete verification in the app by submitting your identity proof, PAN, driving licence, vehicle registration certificate, profile photo and bank or UPI details. We may also conduct background verification as permitted by law.
- You can go online and receive deliveries only after we approve your verification. Keep your documents valid and up to date.
3. Accepting and completing deliveries
- When online, you may be offered a delivery. Accept it in the app within the time shown or it will be offered to another partner; you may decline with a reason.
- Go to the shop, share the pickup code with the Seller, check the items against the order and pick it up.
- Deliver to the customer's location, follow the route shown in the app, and complete the delivery with a proof photo (and collect payment for Cash on Delivery orders).
- Treat customers, Sellers and their property with courtesy. Never open, tamper with or substitute packages.
4. Location sharing
While you have an active delivery, the app shares your live location with Valley Rush and the customer for tracking, including when the app is in the background (a persistent notification shows when this is happening). Location sharing stops when you have no active delivery.
5. Cash on Delivery
You must collect the exact amount for COD orders, in cash or by asking the customer to scan the UPI QR shown in the app. Cash collected belongs to Valley Rush and must be deposited or settled as instructed in the app, within the timelines given. Shortfalls may be recovered from your earnings.
6. Earnings and payouts
- You earn a delivery fee for each completed delivery, as shown in the app before you accept, plus any incentives we announce.
- Earnings are paid to your verified bank account or UPI ID on the payout cycle shown in the Wallet section, after adjusting COD cash held by you and any amounts lawfully deductible.
- You are responsible for your own taxes on earnings. Where we are required to deduct tax at source, we will do so and provide certificates.
7. Safety and conduct
- Obey traffic laws and wear a helmet when riding a two-wheeler. Never use your phone while riding; use voice navigation.
- Do not deliver under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Report accidents, theft or safety incidents to support immediately.
- Do not share customers' personal details or contact them for anything other than the delivery.
8. Suspension and deactivation
We may suspend or deactivate your account for fraud, unsafe behaviour, repeated complaints, misuse of COD cash, falsified proofs or documents, or breach of these Terms. Except in urgent cases, we will give you reasons and an opportunity to respond.
9. Liability
You are responsible for your vehicle, fuel, phone and data costs, and for loss or damage caused by your negligence. To the extent permitted by law, our liability to you is limited to unpaid earnings due to you.
10. Changes and governing law
We may update these Terms with notice in the app. These Terms are governed by Indian law; courts at Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir have jurisdiction.
